Junior State Club Championships 2020

  JUNIOR STATE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hockey WA have confirmed on the format and dates for 2020 Championships.

Following a consideration of change to run the championships on combined Boys and Girls, with days split between the 'A' and 'B' Divisions, decision has been made to remain with status quo as per 2019 Championships

Championships are held during the School Term Holiday periods.

Venue:

Cometitions will be primarily held at the Perth Hockey Stadium.   Should there be a requirement based on nominations for second venues to be used, these will be advise by Representative Team Management to those players selected.

Dates:

JUNIOR J11/12 Championships

• Tuesday to Thursday - April 14th to 16th - Format Boys & Girls Combined

JUNIOR J7/8 Championships

• Monday to Wednesday - July 6th to 8th - BOYS - A & B Divisions
• Wednesday to Friday - July 8th to 10th - GIRLS - A & B Divisions

JUNIOR J9/10 Championships

• Monday to Wednesday - July 12th to 15th - BOYS - A & B Divisions
• Wednesday to Friday - July 15th to 17th - GIRLS - A & B Divisions

Families with trialing participant please note that there is a cross-over on the Wednesday as the Boys competition completes and Girls begin, should you have family members that may be involved for the week.

Nomination for Selection

Players seeking to nominate can obtain nomination forms from the Association Website or from Clubs.

TRAINING/TRIALS for Selection

Details of training/trial dates will be confirmed once Team Coaches, Managers be in place and be commencement in alignment of championship dates.  Stay in touch with your Club, various Association Media.
